Severe Weather, Tornadoes Possible for Prince George's County

A hazardous weather outlook predicts severe thunderstorms and possible tornadoes for areas east of Interstate 95.

A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 10 p.m. for many areas east of Interstate 95, according to the National Weather Service. 

Prince George's County and some areas in central Maryland, including Anne Arundel and Baltimore counties are included in a hazardous weather outlook that predicts thunderstorms in the evening and a cold front approaching.

Forecasts indicated storms may produce damaging wind gusts of up to 70 mph and isolated tornadoes are also possible.
