Rolling Thunder Rides into Greenbelt

Motorcyclists stopped off to breakfast in Greenbelt before taking the "Ride for Freedom" out to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall.

Veterans, motorcyclists and those concerned about the plight of the POW/MIA took off for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall on Sunday, but not without stopping off first for some breakfast with the Greenbelt American Legion Post 136. They came to Greenbelt from all over Maryland -- Hyattsville, College Park, Laurel, Severn, Upper Marlboro and Pasadena -- and from as far away as New Hampshire.

After riding into D.C. to show their solidarity, they returned to Greenbelt for food, fellowship and dancing.

"We come up to pay our reverence and then party for those who can't," Alan Nesbit said, who journeyed to the area from Greenville, N.H.
