Patch Picks: Staycations

Spring break is just around the corner, but you and your kids don't have to venture far to get away from the daily grind.

Greenbelt is less than 20 miles away from the nation's capital, Washington, D.C. D.C. offers the perfect staycation for anyone wanting to get away, but not far. The city offers tons of museums, monuments and fun, all are free or can be bought on the cheap.

Another great option is to check out some of the sites nearby. Have you been to the ? This home has events nearly every weekend and is a piece of history.

Head North on I-95 toward Baltimore for fun near the water and plenty of museums of their own. Take in an Orioles game or the National Aquarium, no matter what you want to do, Baltimore has it.
