More Sleet, Snow, and Rain Headed for Greenbelt

The Friday evening commute could get messy.

Greenbelt and much of the Baltimore-Washington corridor are in for another dose of mixed precipitation Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

Snow and sleet are likely to begin sometime after noon, with a daytime high near 38°. Forecasters say accumulations of under half an inch are possible.

Rain and snow are also likely in the evening hours, but the precip is expected to switch over to just rain after midnight. Less than a tenth of an inch of precipitation is forecast, with an overnight low of around 33°.

Still more precip—all rain—is likely on Saturday and Saturday evening, with a daytime high of around 42°.
