Greenbelt American Legion Memorial Service

Greenbelt Post 136 will honor their veterans and auxiliary members who passed away in the last year.

On Sunday, May 1 at 5 p.m., The American Legion Greenbelt Post 136 will remember their veterans or auxiliary members who have passed away in the last year to go on to Post Everlasting.

“It’s to honor those who served, and it’s a closing for the Post for the year,” said Kathie Linkenhoker, Greenbelt Post 136 Commander.

The service for Post Everlasting will last about 30 minutes and the American Legion will serve a complimentary meal afterward. Linkenhoker invited friends and family to join the Legion in remembering members who have passed away since April 2010.
