Festival of Lights Season Kicks Off This Weekend in Greenbelt

The fair will feature more than 70 participating artists, crafters and authors.

Come and celebrate the holiday season this weekend in Greenbelt at the Festival of Lights Art and Craft Fair, which will take place on Saturday and Sunday, kicking off with a tree lighting on Friday at 7 p.m.

All ages are welcome to the tree lighting and the fair. Holiday lights will adorn the tree, and there will be musical performances by the Greenbelt Concert Band, Brass Choir and other community groups. Santa will also make an appearance on a fire truck to help light the tree. Complimentary cookies and hot chocolate will be provided by the city’s recreation department.
