Update: Snowfall Minimal in Greenbelt

The snowquester was more like a spring rain storm than a late winter snow storm.

Update: 4:14 p.m.: The National Weather Service has downgraded its winter storm warning to an advisory again after the snowquester did not make an appearance.

Original Post, 5 a.m.: The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm advisory for Greenbelt and much of the surrounding region, with accumulations of up to 4 inches or more expected on Wednesday.

Precipitation is expected to begin as a mix of rain and snow, changing over to all snow Tuesday night. Wind gusts may reach up to 30 mph, according to the NWS.
