Jobs Open Near Greenbelt with More on the Way

The economy is tough, but Greenbelt may be in for some relief. Neighboring Beltsville has job openings, ranging from painters to machinist to engineers.

ATK Spacecraft Systems and Services is expanding and recently opened two new facilities on its Beltsville campus — one for manufacturing and the other is a robotic, satellite simulation facility.

But it doesn't stop with these 30 jobs, ATK has invested $1.5 million in its expansion efforts and predicts they will generate manufacturing positions, with 150 new jobs projected in the next 12 to 18 months, according to the Gazette.
