Greenbelt Farmers Market: Juicy Peaches, Sweet Cherries and More

Check out the farmers market Sunday.

Greenbelt Farmers Market will be open Sunday and shoppers will not only get a chance to pick of fresh summer vegetables and fruit, but there will also be an energy-related nonprofit available to answer your questions about going green.

Three Springs Farms will have peaches, sweet and tart cherries, an assortment of berries, apricots and seasonal vegetables.

Susan Stewart will also be on hand selling her reusable bags made from old t-shirts. Bring a shirt, leave with a bag!.

And finally, the Strong Homes Program at Groundswell, a nonprofit, will be on hand to answer home energy efficiency questions.

The market will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Roosevelt Center parking lot.
