Greenbelter and Goddard Branch Chief Talks About Climate Change Tuesday

Climate change and hope aren't generally spoken of together, but they will be Tuesday night in Greenbelt when Dr. Cahalan gives a presentation on the Earth's climate.

Dr. Robert Cahalan will present "Climate Change—Reason for Hope" in the at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

He will talk about the challenges caused by global disruptions of Earth's climate and biosphere and what can be done. In the face of ecosystem collapses, depletion of fish and forests, loss of fresh water and species extinctions, Cahalan asks—is there legitimate reason for hope?

Citizens to Conserve and Restore Indian Creek (CCRIC) is hosting the meeting and has posted .
