What's Up with the Green Line: Weekend of July 1 through 3

The work slated for this weekend is on the Red, Orange and Blue Lines with no work scheduled for Sunday. Well, sort of.

Greenliners, we get another break, with no maintenance scheduled on the Green Line throughout the holiday weekend. But if you’re transferring to Red, Orange or Blue Lines, be on the lookout for scheduled maintenance on Friday and Saturday.

Metro states that throughout the region “there will be no scheduled track maintenance on Sunday, July 3 or Monday, July 4,” but for a section of the Red Line there is indeed scheduled work until 3 a.m. Sunday morning.

For for most Metro-goers, though, it should be a clear ride on Sunday. The partial weekend work begins around 10 p.m. Friday, July 1, and continues through closing on Saturday, July 2, unless otherwise indicated.
