Ingrid Cowan Hass, who grew up in North Carolina, has called Greenbelt home since 1998. She is an opera singer, music and art teacher and is the artist of the New Deal Café’s sign. Her “Summertime Tunes” watercolors and block prints generally feature people making music or are evocative of music, and will be on display in the back room.

Eva Kritt, a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art was influenced early on by Rodin’s “The Gates of Hell” which she saw at the National Gallery of Art with her grandfather. Kritt focuses on figures and faces and her drawings will be displayed in the New Deal’s front room.
