Science Day in DC

Educational and hands-on activities for K-12 students to teach themabout Navy Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) careers. A day-long program of speakers, static displays and interactive robots that cover the history of the Navy through science and technology the origins development of the Global PositioningSystem (GPS), and other navigation technologies and the history of the use of robots.

This event is being held in conjunction with the USA Science Festival, oneof the biggest K-12 outreach programs with hundreds of booths and more than 1,500 interactive exhibits all over the Washington Metropolitan Area(www.usasciencefestival.org ).
