Maryland Day is one great big festival on the sprawling University of Maryland Campus. During the festivities, the university is broken up into six specific types of activities: Science and Tech Way, Ag Day Avenue, Arts Alley, Sports and Rec Row, Biz and Society Hill and Terp Town Center.
Maryland sports fans can head over to Comcast Center for player and coach autographs or a football scrimmage. Pet animals at the campus farm, play instruments at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center orview insects in the Plant Sciences Building. Explore college majors and financing options, talk to college deans. Be part of an archaeological dig or get blown away in a wind tunnel. Dining Services will be cooking up some of her best recipes and samples are free! The National Archives, NASA and Smithsonian Institution will also be at Maryland Day with exhibits, information and fun.
