Divine Intervention Debuts at Greenbelt Arts Center

Dress in your pajamas, and join Transitions Theater for a living room celebration of ….. Christmas in June!

Over hot chocolate and candy canes, the loveable main character, Noelle, engages you in a fun and intoxicating journey through her childhood Christmases, and instructs you on how to uphold quirky traditions, like how to “correctly” decorate a Christmas tree and fake your way through Catholic Mass.  A magical Christmas evening takes a turn into chaos, however, as Noelle stumbles into memories she’d rather soon forget, exposing some of Santa’s darkest secrets along the way.  Can she escape the ghosts of her Christmas past, or will she succumb to the madness of it all?

Following Transitions Theater’s style; this one-woman show, written and performed by Amie Shafer, includes a large amount of audience participation and laughter, as it addresses  society's challenges and taboos. For this reason, this show is for mature audiences only; no one under 17 will be admitted without an adult.
