Artful Afternoon: How Does Your Garden Grow?

Make bug sculptures and pendants using reclaimed hardware and found objects. Make simple puppets for a 3 p.m. performance. Participate in children's farm-to-food activities with volunteers from the Greenbelt Farmer's Market; the market season opens May 8.

A drawing will be held for two tickets to a performance of your choice at the Greenbelt Arts Center. Enter this free drawing at the Greenbelt Community Center Art Gallery now through 2:30 p.m. May 1.

Throughout the afternoon, visit the Art Gallery to see the new exhibition "Aerial: Drawings by Rebecca Clark". Clark creates meticulous drawings of bees as if captured in mid-flight.

Also, visit the Greenbelt Museum's current exhibition at the Community Center: "Green From the Start: A History of Gardening in Greenbelt".
