Saint Hugh's Response to Irene Gains National Attention

The National Catholic Register took note of Saint Hugh's parishioners showing up for mass despite Irene taking out their power.

The National Catholic Register reported that after Irene's tempest blew out the power in Saint Hugh early Sunday on Aug. 28, nearly half their membership still showed up for three Sunday morning masses — by candlelight.
