Get Out: Greenbelt Weekend Events

Get out in Greenbelt this weekend with a variety of music, dance and other events for your entertainment.

It's the last weekend in August, so get out in Greenbelt and experience some of the many events that the town has to offer, weather permitting.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream

  • With shows remaining for SATURDAY, plus running for one more weekend, Sept. 2 and 3.
  • 8 p.m.
  • Greenbelt Arts Center
  • Tickets are $15; and $12 for students and seniors
  • Guest produced by The Rude Mechanicals
  • If you think that this is going to be a classic re-telling of the play, you’re in for a surprise. This production puts a twist on the plot by setting the story in Las Vegas.

  • Depicts the relationship and interaction between two women from different time periods as they struggle to understand their roles in volatile relationships.
