Smithsonian Family Day: African American Pioneers in Aviation
Visitors will meet famed African American pilots from World War II, the Tuskegee Airmen, who fought discrimination both at home and abroad; talk to Museum experts; and participate in hands-on activities, and story time. As part of the all-day activities, design a Tuskegee Airman Squadron patch, make your own aviator's license, or build a pair of binoculars.
