Holiday shopping fun ride to DC's Eastern Market and the Downtown Holiday Market from Proteus Bike Shop in College Park (depart 10am). Arrive Eastern Market about 11:30am, get lunch and shop. Head over to Downtown Holiday Market after lunch. Return to shop around 2pm, arrive 3:30pm. About 30 miles round trip. Not a supported ride (bring your Metro farecard as a bail out or if you want a shorter ride). Moderate pace -- we'll ride in groups, and no one will be dropped. Weather should be great, sunny and cool. For riders in Greenbelt, we'll meet up at the New Deal Cafe at 9:30am to head over to the shop if you want to join us.
