Greenbelt schools are back in session next week. Here's 5 things you need to know today to prepare for your student's first day.

AROUND TOWN » The first day of school is creeping up for Prince George's County Public School students as it's on Aug. 19. But on Thursday, PGCPS is hosting a transition day for new middle school and high school students.

WEATHER » Some sunshine, some clouds, and not nearly as much heat. The skies will be mostly sunny and daytime temperatures will be in the high-70s.
