Greenbelt Artists Studio Tour begins at the New Deal Cafe!

Today at the cafe: The public is invited to visit the artists who are displaying at the cafe this month in their Greenbelt studios during an Open Studio Tour from 2-5pm. There are 13 artists participating in this self-guided tour, which is part of the yearlong celebration of Greenbelt's 75th Anniversary.
Pick up maps starting at 1pm at the cafe and at Ana Gasper's studio, 6718 Village Park Drive in Greenbelt East!
An Art Reception will follow from 7 to 9pm in the New Deal Café, with refreshments and '30s-era jazz music from the Not 2 Cool Jazz Trio. Members of Greenbelt's 75th Anniversary Committee will also be on hand to award cash prizes.
The artist's work will remain on display at the New Deal Cafe through April 30.

More About New Deal Cafe
"Food. Beer. Wine. Music." This Lebanese-Mediterranean based establishment is a cute cafe and the place to go for unique food and a fun night. To go with the theme of their name, the New Deal Cafe offers a deal of their own; a 10% discount is offered for all government employees. Patrons can also enjoy mid-day melodies by Amy C. Kraft on the Thursdays from noon to 2pm.
Brunch is served on Sundays from 10:30am to 12:30pm. The menu includes eggs, bacon, omelets, pancakes, hash browns, orange juice, coffee and more.
Outdoor seating is available on the front porch, as well as catering and entertainment every Tuesday through Sunday evenings.
