School Fingerprinting and Background Checks
Planning to join your child's class for an occasional field trip or help in the class for special projects? As your child gets older, perhaps there will be an overnight trip you'll chaperone.
To help out at the school with students, you need a minimum of a background check. For an overnight field trip, chaperones must complete a full fingerprint background check and form.

More About Greenbelt Elementary School
Greenbelt Elementary School was founded around 1936, but because of population fluctuations now resides in a newer building, built in 1993, in the historic section of town. The school offers a traditional approach to teaching, and sponsors children from pre-kindergarten to sixth grade. Furthering education, Greenbelt students participate in several programs: Reading Recovery, Talented and Gifted in the Regular Classroom and Write-A-Book Contest.
