More About Greenbelt Museum
Greenbelt Museum lets us experience a bit of the time period between 1936-52. The house in which the museum is based is furnished with objects of the era donated by the Resettlement Administration's Special Skills Division when struggling families were relocated by the federal government to certain communities. The objects in the house represent the lifestyle of the middle-class families of the period and include toys, linens, kitchenware and more. The museum also offers group tours, which should be booked in advance.
General admission is $3. Adults 55 and older pay $2. Children under 12 pay $1. Friends of the Greenbelt Museum are always free.
