NEW & USED BOOKS FOR LESS THAN SCHOOL LUNCH! If you're in the neighborhood (Greenbelt/Berwyn Heights, Glenn Dale/Old Bowie or New Carrollton), stop by our used book fair Saturday, Oct. 13, from 12 noon to 4 p.m. The PTA at Gaywood Elementary School is sponsoring a community book fair, which will feature a whimsical story time with a Dr. Seuss theme, a movie based on a book and, of course, gently used bargain-priced books for all ages. A local librarian will be on hand to promote library cards. Gaywood Elementary School is located less than a mile from NASA Goddard and Doctors Community Hospital, between Good Luck Road and Lanham-Severn Road/Route 564.TITLES: Among the hundreds of titles we have collected so far: homeschool/K-12 teaching materials, fact books, Tom Clancy, Robert Parker and James Patterson novels, Star wars books, Star Trek paperbacks, Nancy Drew hardcovers, Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Seuss and other children's books, literary classics, inspirational and Christian books, African-American, romance paperbacks and other fiction (many of them NEW!), National Geographic magazines, cowboy paperbacks (L'Amore, etc.), historical and college texts, DVDs and audio books, and much more!
