Artwork Valuation Workshop, sponsored by the WPA

This two-day workshop, sponsored by the Washington Project for the Arts, teaches artists how to "set and protect" their work's value. 

• Day 1, April 24: Setting the Price - Presented by Lauren Gentile: Artists can have their work appraised by Contemporary Wing founder and independent appraiser, Lauren Gentile. Lauren will discuss the proper pricing of the artworks, teaching the factors that affect pricing from the perspective of a gallerist and appraiser.
• Day 2, April 25: Protecting the Value - Moderated by Lisa Gold. Diverse Panel discussion moderated by WPA's Lisa Gold,focusing on the risks that affect the value of art, both before and after a sale.
