Victim Shot in Greenbelt in 2010 Dies on Christmas Day
Damon Norman Washington succumbs to injuries.
On Dec. 22, 2010, 30-year-old Damon Norman Washington was shot in the neck on the 9100 Block of Edmonston Court in Greenbelt.
On Dec. 25 of this year, Washington died from his injury at the Gladys Spellman Specialty Care Unit, where he had been a patient since February 2010.
Previous to the incident which resulted in his fatal bullet wound, Washington on private property on October 25, 2010.

The Maryland State Medical Examiner’s office has classified the death as a homicide, stemming from complications associated with the gunshot injury. Greenbelt police are still investigating the homicide and ask the public to contact the Greenbelt City Police Department Criminal Investigations Unit at 240-542-2133 with any information.
