St. Patrick's Day at the New Deal Café
The New Deal celebrates the day with corned beef and cabbage plus a live band playing traditional Irish and folk music.
The New Deal Café is throwing quite a bash for St. Patrick's Day. Stop by and try out Chef Karim and Maria's holiday special of corned beef and cabbage, or enjoy some of the New Deal's more traditional offerings.
If, like me, emerald is not your color, not to worry. Green beer will be on tap. So if moves toward you with a pinching-intent, just smile and show 'em your teeth.
Here's the music the New Deal has planned for the evening:
Bruce Kritt will entertain you with his classic guitar from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Then John Guernsey, a.k.a. "piano man," will be playing jazz and blues piano extraordinaire from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Get ready for an Irish treat at 8 p.m. when the Greentop Ramblers put on a special St. Patty's Day show until 11 p.m.— playing traditional Irish and folk music.
