Police Release Photos of Suspect In Greenbelt Gunfight
A teenage girl was shot during a gunfight in Greenbelt East, now police prepare to offer a reward, police said.
Police released two photographs Friday night of a suspect they say was allegedly involved in a Greenbelt gunfight Tuesday that left a teenage girl injured by a stray bullet, according to the Greenbelt Police Department.
The girl was not involved in the fight, police said.
Police are preparing to offer a reward for information, Spokeswoman Off. Kelly Lawson said Friday.
The teenager was hit while she was walking home at about 6:23 p.m., police said.
She was treated at an area hospital and has since been released, police said.
One the suspects is described as a black male, who was wearing tan shorts, no shirt and red and black sneakers at the time of the shooting, according to police.
Greenbelt detectives are working with Prince George's County Crime Solvers to develop a reward offer and a wanted poster, Lawson said.
Police ask anyone with information to contact the Criminal Investigations Unit at (240) 542-2133.
