Police Blotter: Sept. 23-29

The following arrest information was supplied by the Greenbelt Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Sept. 22: A window was broken on the 9100 block of Edmonston Road at 2:19 p.m.

Sept. 23: Justin Cline Pierce, 30, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute drugs, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia near the area of Springhill Court and Edmonston Terrace at 12:24 a.m. The suspect was released to the Department of Corrections for a hearing before a District Court Commissioner.

A glass door was broken at a residence on the 6900 block of Hanover Parkway at 1:08 p.m.

A burglary occurred on the 9200 block of Edmonston Road at 2:15 p.m. Nothing was taken.

Nathaniel Morgan, 33, of Landover Hills, was arrested and charged with transporting a handgun on the 5900 block of Cherrywood Lane at 6:21 p.m. The suspect was released to the Department of Corrections for a hearing before a District Court Commissioner.

A bicycle was taken from a patio from a residence on the 6100 block of Springhill Terrace at 7:15 p.m.

A tag expiration sticker was taken on the 7900 block of Mandan Road.

Sept. 24: Dante Anthony Williams, 23, of Glenn Dale, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop on the 7000 block of Greenbelt Road at 4:25 a.m. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

A truck window was broken on the 7500 block of Greenbelt Road.

Sept. 25: Electronics were taken on the 9100 block of Springhill Lane 9:28 a.m.

Richard Steven Brown, 58, of Berwyn Heights, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop on the intersection of Greenbelt Road and Lakecrest Drive at 9:51 p.m. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

A Maryland tag, reported stolen through Prince George’s County Police, was recovered on the intersection of Greenbelt Road and Cherrywood Lane. No arrests were made.

Sept. 26: A wallet was taken from a vehicle on the 7700 block of Hanover Parkway.

A window was broken on the 6800 block of Megan Lane.

Sept. 27: Robert Jay Greeney, 30, of Laurel, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and trespassing on private property on the 6200 block of Springhill Drive at 12:23 p.m. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

A window was broken on the 6100 block of Springhill Terrace at 4:07 p.m.

Electronics were taken from a residence on the 7200 block of Mandan Road at 4:41 p.m.

A green 1998 Ford Explorer with Maryland tags was recovered by the Metropolitan Police of the District of Columbia on the 100 block of Westway. No arrests were made.

Sept. 28: A chair and potting soil were taken from the yard from a residence in 2 court Eastway at 5 p.m.

Electronics were taken from a residence on the 5900 block of Cherrywood Terrace at 11:22 p.m.

There was an attempted vehicle theft on the 6200 block of Springhill Drive.

Sept. 29: A vehicle was damaged by unknown means on the 5800 block of Cherrywood Terrace.
