WTH! Not robbing somebody for carryout food. Are you serious? What is wrong with people and what is happening to our society today?

Story may not be complete, or the robbers were simply taking a chance that the victim had money. How would the robbers know what was in the bag prior to the robbery. It sounds like they were waiting for the first person who came up. Remember this is the old Spring Hill Lake area. Robberies on the property were daily. They declined a bit under the current new owners, however,, things have gotten worse of late. Police are running more calls onto the property . I understood that the new owners were running full public records checks to screen out known trouble. Perhaps they have stopped. Greenbelt would have been far better off with the plan AIMCO offered. The current building layouts are a crime prevention disaster. Sightlines are terrible. Still dark spots. Whole place needed to be taken down and redesigned.

That is a sad case indeed and i'm happy that the individual is okay and no bodily harm can to man only the loss of his dinner. But the crime also is that times are hard that people are committing crimes so that they can eat. Sure hope the economy turns around, so folks will have jobs to take care of themselves.
I don't condone crime or this act, but there is two possibly situation here. They didn't ask for money, they asked for the bag that they knew contained food. This equals hungry.
