Lanham Man Arrested After Beating a Dog in Greenbelt

A 27-year-old Lanham man has been charged in an animal cruelty case.

 

Police have arrested and charged a 27-year-old Lanham man, after witnesses reported he was punching and kicking a dog in a parking lot.

Anis Hussein Attar was arrested and charged with animal cruelty and disorderly conduct on Wednesday. According to police, the incident occurred in the 7400 block of Greenbelt Road on Wednesday just after 10 a.m.

The suspect was released to the Department of Corrections for hearing before a District Court Commissioner.

should have at least given him the same treatment he gave the dog before releasing Mr. Attar.

I WISH I WOULD OF WITNESSED THAT..I WOULD OF BEAT HIM WITH A SOFTBALL BAT. I HOPE OUR COUNTY PROSECUTES THIS TO THE FULLEST. OUR ANIMALS AND CHILDREN NEED TO BE PROTECTED!
