On Saturday, before the Greenbelt Aquatic Center pool officially opened to the public, the Greenbelt Municipal Swim Team (GMST) and other pool fans came to get their pre-summer taste of the water. The pool temperature at the Early Bird Swim was a bit nippy for some, but many dove right in to kick off their swim season.
There were snow cones, popcorn and drinks for all, and plenty of water, and the benefits from the day went to the GMST, with the use of the pool being donated by the Aquatic Center.
