Announcement: Greenbelt Explorations Unlimited Explores Basics of Chinese Medicine
Explore the basics of health according to Chinese Medicine at Greenbelt's Explorations Unlimited. What's up the yin yang for you?
Karen Haseley, therapeutic recreation supervisor with the Greenbelt Recreation Department, announces:
Explorations Unlimited welcomes Susan Stern on Friday at 1 p.m in the Greenbelt Community Center. The yin yang symbol represents the ancient Chinese understanding of how things work. Such a topic could be "up the yin yang" with philosophy, but Stern will lead this look at naturally balancing our health in a light-hearted manner sure to move your body, mind and spirit.
Stern is a licensed acupuncturist and a Greenbelt resident. She was a practitioner at Pleasant Touch and now focuses on health and wellness education with At Home Holistic Health.
Explorations Unlimited is held every Friday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Greenbelt Community Center. The presentation will be held in the Senior Classroom, room 114.
Everyone is welcome to attend and questions are always encouraged. Please call (301) 397-2208 for more information.
