Doctors Community Hospital Names Chief Financial Officer
Doctors Community Hospital in Lanham, Md., named Camille R. Bash chief financial officer and vice president of finance. In her new position, Bash will oversee all financial operations of the hospital.
“At Doctors Community Hospital, finances are a means to an end: better health care in Prince George’s County. We’ll continue to work to streamline hospital finances and operations in order to provide the best health care available,” Bash said.
Bash has more than 34 years of experience in finance. She served as the director of financial services at Doctors Community Hospital for three years. Prior to joining Doctors Community Hospital, Bash was CFO for Catholic Charities in Washington DC, administrator for MedLink Hospital and Nursing Home, CFO for Washington Home and Hospice and vice president of business operations for Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
Among her distinctions, Bash holds certified public accountant and nursing home administrator certifications in Maryland and the District of Columbia. In addition, she is a fellow with the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
Bash completed all but her dissertation for a doctorate at Walden University. She earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Missouri in St. Louis, a Master of Arts in health care from Webster University in Missouri and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas in Austin.
